Frequently asked questions

What does The Exchange help with?

The Exchange helps founders bring clarity to how their work is presented, recognized, and understood before making visibility decisions.

Rather than beginning with tactics, the work begins with positioning, messaging alignment, and audience clarity so future marketing efforts have direction.

Who is this work designed for?

The Exchange is designed for founders, business owners, and brand leaders who want thoughtful direction before investing further in marketing or visibility.

Some are early in development. Others are established but refining how their work is positioned.

Do I need to have clients already to benefit from this work?

No.

Clarity is just as valuable before working with clients as it is after gaining experience. Many founders use this work to define how they want their business to be understood from the beginning.

Is this marketing consulting?

Not in the traditional sense.

The Exchange focuses on clarifying what your work is meant to be and who it is meant to serve so future marketing decisions become easier and more intentional.

Execution strategies may follow later, but they are not where the work begins.

What happens during a Brand Clarity Consultation?

A Brand Clarity Consultation is a structured session designed to bring focus to positioning, messaging, and audience alignment.

Most founders leave with clearer language for describing their work and greater confidence in the direction of future visibility decisions.

What are “defined engagements”?

The Exchange offers a small number of structured engagements rather than open-ended consulting. Each engagement is designed to fill a specific need. That can be understanding your current positioning in the marketplace, for founding businesses who have not yet accepted clients that may mean building infrastructure to grow comfortably with benchmarks to understand what phase your business sits in, aligning your messaging with the appropriate audience and other engagements with specific outcomes.

This allows the work to remain focused, intentional, and aligned with what founders actually need at this stage of development.

Is The Exchange currently accepting clients?

The Exchange is currently in its founding phase.

A limited number of early studio engagements are available while the structure of future offerings continues to develop.

What is Open Access?

Open Access resources are complementary.

These materials are designed to help founders begin clarifying positioning and direction independently before deciding whether deeper collaboration would be helpful.

How do I know if this is the right fit for me?

Many founders arrive at The Exchange because something about their current messaging, positioning, or visibility feels incomplete, difficult to explain.

Founders may also be in the early stages of building their vision or unsure of what next steps are after a change.

If that feels familiar, this work is likely a strong fit.

What happens after I reach out?

Most conversations begin with a short exchange to understand what you are building and what kind of clarity would be most useful right now.

From there, we can determine whether one of the current engagements is the right next step.
